RESPONSIVE
The Internet isn’t just on your computer screen anymore. It’s also on your phone, tablet and laptop. The PODIUM theme has a drop down menu with sublevels. The built-in menu down-arrows show the menu-items with a sublevel for clear navigation through your website. Click on the menu icon to open the menu. Optional the menu shows up when opening a page (example).The PODIUM ONE theme has a one-page menu. It doesn’t use the built-in menu, but you have to make a menu yourself (see tutorial in the manual).
One Page (or Single page) designs can be an excellent technique for tackling smaller websites, even those that you might not think could ever be done without multiple pages. There are reasons for using a single page site (faster and easier to maintain, intuitive to use, easier to organize, reduced bandwidth). Obviously, single page designs are not ideal for every project.Choose from 6 different menu positions: menu in the body (left, center, right) or within the container (left, center, right).
BACKGROUND
The theme has an option for a fullscreen background image built-in (you can also add your own!). A slideshow is possible with for example the bgStretcher stack (not included in this theme). Optional is a Hide/Close button in the upper left corner to hide and show the content.EXTRACONTENT
ExtraContent allows you to add more content then RapidWeaver typically allows. The theme has 5 ExtraContent areas:EC1 is just below the menu, EC2 is above the Title and EC3 is below the Slogan. EC4 is above the content at the right side. This can be used as a text-area above a slideshow, video or image in the EC5
ExtraContent5 (by default disabled!) can be used for a (responsive) slide show (with the Weaverpix plugin or a responsive slide show stack) or image in the Content at the right side.
Only the Podium-One theme has an ExtraContent6 area. This is where the one page menu goes.
There are some extra content snippets in the download file, but it's much easier to use the free ExtraContent stack. Learn more about Extra Content here.
LOGO
The Logo and the Title have a link with the index.html page of your website. By default the logo is above the Title, when enabled in the Theme Styles > Miscellaneous > Show Logo (example). You can put the logo anywhere, for example in the EC1, EC2 or EC3 area.
FONT AWESOME ICONS
Font Awesome is integrated into this theme. That means you have over 500 Font Awesome icons at your disposal, in any color and any size you like. Font Awesome icons are vectors, which mean they're gorgeous on high-resolution displays. And they are completely free for commercial use.SEARCHBOX
This theme provides built-in support for Nimblehost's RapidSearch plugin (not included). You can put a Searchbox (you'll need the RapidSearch plugin for this) in the ExtraContent or somewhere else (sidebar, content, footer). Read the Manual.FLUID IMAGES

The Manual is built-in (Theme Styles > Miscellaneous > View User Manual). It shows up when you're online ánd in preview mode.
It is very extended and describes very detailed and with some tutorials how to style your site and how to add background patterns, font-awesome icons, add text-shadow to the Title, etc.
