Questions, technical support, feedback, general chat?Whether you're building your first or one-hundredth website, this page gives you links to all relevant support channels; including one-to-one technical support. Please use the tabs below to toggle between different support channels and contact details. We've aimed to publish as much information as possible online (like in the Wiki), so that you can search and find answers to common questions more easily and quickly. However if you still can't find what you're looking for or your enquiry is about something else, please don't hesitate to get in contact.
Bottom-line, help us to help you! If requesting technical support using the links above, please follow these basic rules. Doing-so simply enables your questions to be answered as quickly as possible, with the friendliness and professionalism you would expect. We deal with a large volume of enquiries and support emails every day, so the following rules are intended to help streamline things.
- Enquiries relating to the checkout and payments should be sent to Paddle. Enquiries relating to updates and technical support for specific stacks should be directed to ThemeFlood. Please refrain from sending technical support enquiries to Paddle; as those questions are unlikely to get answered.
- It's difficult to provide support in instances where other third-party themes or stacks are used. Contrary to popular belief, the third-party developers don't have free-roaming access to the RapidWeaver Addons site, and can only afford to purchase and test against a limited number of third-party addons. Therefore you may be asked in advance to purchase and gift additional copies of particular themes or stacks, if questions relate to these products. Unfortunately not all RapidWeaver theme and stack developers provide free demo versions of their wares.
- Enquiries relating to free ThemeFlood themes being used in conjunction with themes or stacks by other developers may be billable at an hourly rate. This is to compensate for the time and resources required to provide assistance, and makes things fairer for all.
- RapidWeaver is developed by Realmac Software. So if you have general questions (e.g. theme installation problems or publishing problems) it's often far quicker to search the information already provided and get in contact with them directly if a problem persists.
- When contacting us with a problem, it's always so much easier and quicker to be able to replicate the problem here in the office. Therefore describe the problem to the best of your ability using good English and grammar. Some screenshots may be useful. A link to a live published website or a download link for the RapidWeaver sandwich file is almost essential. Large files can be forwarded using a secure, free service like DropBox. If an email lacks information, it'll probably end up getting bounced back to you as FIR (further information required) with a request for more details. You can save yourself many hours by spending a few extra minutes to carefully compose an email with all the required information contained.
- When replying to our emails, please keep your previous correspondence attached to the email. This simple action is very helpful when referring to previous history and communications; and even more useful if it's someone else (other than me) on inbox duty. We receive many emails every week, so it can be hard to keep track of individual cases.
- Please do not cross-post your support correspondence. For example, don't send me an email and post the same information to the RapidWeaver forums or vice-versa. It's just a waste of time. Ask the question(s) once and wait patiently for a reply. Otherwise all duplicated correspondence will just get flagged as spam, deleted and never answered.
- We have a zero tolerance of communications or links which contain aggressive, threatening, illegal or vulgar content. Don't expect a reply to those sorts of messages!
This extensive documentation covers just about everything you need to know about RapidWeaver themes. It starts with the absolute basics of RapidWeaver and covers a broad range of subjects, right up to more advanced topics like theme customisation. All popular topics like image editing, embedded fonts, responsive design, navigation options and theme style settings are covered. It also lends many expert tips along the way for getting the most out of RapidWeaver and building stunning websites like a pro. The Wiki is regularly updated with revised information and new topics. You're welcome to save or download any articles for offline use.
The wiki is straightforward to use. Use the search box at the top righthand side of the page to enter relevant keywords for what you're looking for. As an example, if you were unsure how to setup a freestyle banner in a RapidWeaver theme, you could type 'freestyle banner' in the search box. You will then get presented with a list of topics which closely match your search terms.
Another method of using the Wiki is to browse the list of topics presented down the lefthand side of each page. These links are permanently 'pinned' in the sidebar and generally regarded as the most popular topics being read. These topics are sorted into categories, like 'theme techniques'. Clicking one of the links will take you through to that particular page.
Each Wiki article has been carefully written to ensure its as easy as possible to understand. This includes illustrations of key points and presentation of example markup or source code you can copy straight from the website to reuse in RapidWeaver. Additionally, numerous links are included to external websites or resources we feel may be of help or interest to you.
If you have comments about the Wiki or ideas for new articles, please get in contact. One of the authors will be happy to respond to your feedback.
Free theme updates
Updates for ThemeFlood RapidWeaver themes are free for all existing users. Theme updates are periodically released to introduce new features and maintain compatibility with the latest plugins and web browsers. You can tell if an update is available for your theme, by comparing the number appended after the theme name in RapidWeaver, to the number shown on this website. Generally theme updates are not sent out automatically, because previously it was found many of the emails went missing in junk or spam mail filters. Instead you are invited to check for updates yourself, and download them at a time convenient to you.
Updating using Waterfall
Waterfall is a small plugin for RapidWeaver 6, available to purchase from the Nimblehost website. Once installed and added to a project, Waterfall will check the version number of themes installed, against the version number shown on this website. Waterfall will download and install the latest versions; which will be ready the next time you restart RapidWeaver. Older versions of themes will be moved into the
/Waterfall/Backups/ folder, in your RapidWeaver addons folder.
Please note that Waterfall update checking only works on themes installed after 10th January 2015. Free demo versions of themes and copies of themes installed before 10th January 2015 will not check for updates automatically. Waterfall will only update original themes; those which you have previously duplicated and renamed for modification will not be updated.
Updating using your Paddle locker
If you obtained themes on or after 10th January 2015, you were invited to provide your email address and a password during the checkout process. With these login credentials, you can access your Paddle Locker. Paddle is the payment and shopping cart provider used on the ThemeFlood and Stacks4Stacks websites. Once you're logged into your secure locker, you can easily re-download themes again. The download links always point to the latest version of the theme. You can change your email address or password at any time in your Paddle Locker too.
If you obtained your copy of %id=theme_name% before 10th January 2015, you may need to be issued with a new download link. E-Junkie download links no longer work. Please get in contact via email and provide details of the theme update you want and provide proof of purchase. Proof of purchase can comprise of your invoice or receipt; or alternatively the name and email address of the purchaser. If no proof of purchase can be located, please purchase the latest version of the theme from this website.
You can purchase RapidWeaver themes and other addons from this website securely 24/7. Please use the free demo versions provided, to fully evaluate products before purchase. The free demo versions provided on this website let you fully test the product on your computer, against real content and plugins. There are no time restrictions imposed on free demo versions, however links between pages will be disabled and elements of the theme (like graphics or the website footer) may display watermarks or credits. Once you have purchased a theme, you will receive an 'unlocked' version which you can use to start building your website with. Please note that it's not possible to unlock demo versions with a license key. Demo versions are intended for quick evaluation purposes only.
It's strongly recommended that you keep a copy or record of the purchase details when you buy from this website; as these details are commonly required as 'proof of purchase' when requesting future updates or support (without this information, you may otherwise need to repurchase the items again).
We've aimed to make the purchase process as simple as possible and have teamed-up with a brilliant shopping cart provider called Paddle who will provide you with a fast and secure checkout. You can purchase themes using a credit card or PayPal. Download links are issued automatically via email. If you don't receive an email after a few minutes, carefully check your spam or junk mail folder.
As of 1st January 2015, if you're resident in any one of the 28 EU member states, you'll be required by law to have VAT applied to the purchase of any digital downloads or electronic services you buy online. The amount of VAT you will be charged varies; based on which country you are purchasing from and the VAT rate your government has set. This is a global trade / taxation law that all sellers to Europe are legally required to comply with, including all sellers outside of Europe. There are no exceptions.
If you purchase a digital download or e-service without paying the correct amount of VAT, both you and the seller are liable to prosecution for tax avoidance. The rules have been introduced to stop companies syphoning profits out through tax havens and to create a level playing field for all online businesses.
To avoid the obvious problem of customers falsifying their country in the checkout (to get the lowest price and VAT rate), all customers will see and pay the same (gross) price for purchases from the ThemeFlood website. Depending on where you purchase from, we'll absorb any applicable VAT costs ourselves and pass this tax back to your country via the VAT-MOSS system. Additionally you'll be issued with a full purchase receipt / invoice, which you can use to claim-back any VAT paid (if you're a VAT registered business or a charity / non-profit exempt from paying VAT).
If you're a European resident, take particular care when buying any digital downloads or electronic services from other companies. Because taxation has switched from 'place of supply' to 'place of purchase' you're liable to ensure the correct amount of VAT is being paid. Be rest-assured that any purchases you make from Stacks4Stacks or ThemeFlood fully comply with the new legislation.
Currently we are providing a 15% discount code with all purchased ThemeFlood RapidWeaver themes, off the WeaverPix plugin. Version 3 (the newest version of WeaverPix which this discount code is valid with) introduces some brilliant new features and is a must-have for photographers or anyone else serious about displaying multiple images on RapidWeaver websites. The secret discount code is included in the email sent to you after a purchase (the same email with the theme download link in).

Try before you buy!
ThemeFlood has a long tradition of provided free demo versions of all our paid RapidWeaver themes. These demo versions let you download and fully evaluate our themes in RapidWeaver, before you commit to making a purchase. Free demo versions are an ideal method of seeing what features are built into a theme, experiment with settings provided and test a theme for compatibility against existing addons. Free demo versions are by-far the most transparent and comprehensive way of testing themes.
Demo themes have no time limitations imposed on them and will not display obtrusive popups. However the following restrictions are applied to our demo themes:
- Page navigation links in the navigation block or drop-down menu will be disabled. Although your page names will still get shown, the links will not link-through to other pages in your project. You will simply see a non-functioning example of how the theme navigation will look
- Graphics applied to parts of the page like the page background, header or banner may be watermarked with the words 'demo version'
- The theme footer container will likely contain a credit, watermark or link back to the ThemeFlood website
- Support for automatic updates using a plugin like Waterfall is unsupported. A demo theme will not tell you when updates are available
- Some example banner or background images may have been removed from the theme, to keep file sizes smaller
Obviously if you decide to purchase a copy of the theme you've been evaluating, you will be granted a download link to obtain the full version of the theme, without any of the demo restrictions listed above applied. This will be your theme to use, duplicate, modify and build personal or commercial websites with. The full version of the theme will be installed as a new theme, alongside your demo website.
You can begin to build websites with demo versions of themes. However please note that RapidWeaver will treat purchased themes as a brand new theme; therefore switching to the new theme may undo saved settings you applied while in 'demo mode'. Demo themes are best used for casual evaluation purposes only, before building large-scale websites with them.
If you decide against using a theme or purchase the full version, demo themes can be safely and easily deleted, if they're no longer required. In both RapidWeaver 5 and RapidWeaver 6, you can open your themes panel. Right-click on the theme preview icon and select Delete from the menu. Themes can also be deleted in RapidWeaver 6, via the Addons Manager.
Most questions relating to the use of themes are detailed on the ThemeFlood website (each theme has it's own product page) or within the Wiki. Additional pre-sales questions can be submitted via the support page or other contact channels listed.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations (2000), you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of items within a period of 7 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is issued to you. Please note that we are unable to accept cancellation of, or returns for, digital items once downloading has commenced.
Accidental duplicate purchases will be refunded upon request (proof of the first purchase is required). Likewise wrongly purchased products will be exchanged upon request.
If you have encountered a fault or problem with a product, please get in contact with us first via the ThemeFlood support page. We are willing to help diagnose problems and provide bug fixes, free updates, exchanges or workaround solutions to issues you may have found. It is your responsibility to follow published guidelines and provide sufficient information to aid troubleshooting (like details of the product being used and a link to a live [published] demo site).
It should be emphasised that free demo versions are provided for all the products sold through this website. Therefore you have ample opportunity to download, install and test any products for suitability before purchase. This way you can totally ensure that what you're buying is correct for your needs, and you can test a product against existing content or addons from other companies. We can also answer any pre-sales questions you have. All purchases are final.
